I recently stayed at Cook's Motel and found it to be a mixed experience. The owner was friendly and easygoing, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. However, the cleanliness left something to be desired, as I noticed the floors could use a good mop. The location was fantastic for getting to nearby attractions, but overall, I think you get what you pay for with these budget rates.
